Forklift Training and OSHA Certification in the Northwest

Every lift truck operator needs proper OSHA forklift certification, and Toyota Lift offers classes at our three locations in Oregon and Washington. Our three convenient locations are perfect for forklift operators in Seattle, Bellevue, Clackamas, Kent, Portland, Beaverton and the surrounding areas. Professional Operator & Technical Training

  • Basic Training: a classroom session covering basics of lift truck operating. Videotapes and lecture are followed by a written examination. Length of class 4 hours.
  • Hands-on Training/Evaluations: a grading process to evaluate the driving skills of a lift truck operator. Length of evaluation .25 to .5 hrs per operator.
  • Train the Trainer: a two day course for that important in house trainer.
  • Train the Trainer Update: A four hour course to update a current trainer with new OSHA rulings.

Forklift Operator Training is Your Best Investment

Basic training as it pertains to lift truck operators is a one-time course that covers proper lift truck operations. This course includes a skills evaluation of each attendee. The cost for an open registration class is $85.00 per attendee for the Basic Training (4-hour classroom session). An additional $85.00 is assessed for the Hands-on portion which is conducted at the attendee’s place of employment. The Hands-on portion may be conducted the same day as the Basic Training class depending on the number of attendees.

For the Hands-on portion only, the attendee must show proof that the Basic Forklift Training was conducted within the previous three years.

Open registration classes start promptly at 8am and last approximately 4 hours depending on the number of attendees.
